Security at Mukhtabir

Protecting the data of candidates and organizations is foundational to everything we build. This page explains how Mukhtabir approaches security across infrastructure, data handling, AI systems, and platform operations.

1.Security Overview

Mukhtabir is a cloud-based AI interview and candidate assessment platform operated by Voramind Intelligence LLC. Because the platform processes sensitive personal and professional data — including audio and video recordings, interview transcripts, and AI-generated evaluations — security is not an afterthought. It is a core design requirement built into every layer of the platform.

Our security program is designed to protect three groups:

  • Candidates — individuals who participate in AI-powered interviews and whose personal data, voice, and responses are processed by the platform.
  • Organizations — HR teams, recruiters, and enterprise clients who use Mukhtabir to conduct assessments and manage hiring workflows.
  • The platform itself — ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of all data and systems.

We adhere to industry-standard security principles and continuously evolve our practices to address emerging threats. This page provides a transparent, high-level overview of the security measures in place across Mukhtabir.

2.Platform Architecture Security

Mukhtabir is built on a modern, cloud-native architecture designed with security as a foundational principle. We leverage enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure with physical and logical security controls managed by our cloud providers.

Architecture Principles

  • Defense-in-depth: multiple independent security layers protect platform data and services.
  • Network segmentation: platform services are isolated into separate network zones, limiting lateral movement in the event of a breach.
  • Zero-trust principles: no component of the system automatically trusts another; all inter-service communication is authenticated and authorized.
  • Principle of least privilege: services and processes are granted only the minimum permissions required to perform their function.
  • Redundancy and resilience: the platform is designed for high availability with failover mechanisms to ensure continuity of service.
  • Immutable infrastructure: deployments use versioned, tested images to minimize configuration drift and unauthorized changes.

Our infrastructure is hosted in data centers that maintain industry-standard physical security controls including restricted access, environmental monitoring, and continuous surveillance.

3.Data Encryption

All data processed by Mukhtabir is protected through encryption, both while being transmitted across networks and while stored at rest. Encryption ensures that candidate and organization data remains confidential even in the event of unauthorized access to underlying storage or network infrastructure.

Encryption in Transit

All data transmitted between users, candidates, and Mukhtabir servers is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security). This protects interview sessions, API calls, and any data exchanged with the platform from interception or tampering.

Encryption at Rest

Stored data — including interview recordings, transcripts, candidate profiles, and AI-generated scorecards — is encrypted at rest using strong encryption standards. Encryption keys are managed with strict access controls and rotated regularly.

Media Files

Audio and video recordings of interviews are treated as highly sensitive data. These files are encrypted both in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to authorized platform systems and permissioned organization users only.

4.Access Control & Authentication

Mukhtabir enforces strict access controls to ensure that only authorized users can access platform features and data. Access is governed by the principle of least privilege — users and systems receive only the permissions necessary for their specific role and function.

Access Control Measures

  • Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Organizations can assign roles to their team members — such as administrator, recruiter, or reviewer — with each role controlling what data and features can be accessed.
  • Principle of Least Privilege: Every user, service, and internal system process is granted the minimum level of access required to perform its designated function.
  • Secure Authentication: User accounts are protected through secure credential management. Organizations may enforce multi-factor authentication (MFA) for their team members to add an additional verification layer.
  • Session Management: User sessions are managed securely with automatic expiry and invalidation mechanisms to reduce risk from abandoned or stolen sessions.
  • Access Logging: Access to sensitive data and administrative actions are logged for audit and review purposes.

Candidate Data Access

Candidate interview data — including recordings, transcripts, and AI evaluations — is accessible only to the organization that conducted the interview and to authorized Mukhtabirplatform systems. Candidates do not have access to other candidates' data.

5.Application Security

Security is integrated into the software development lifecycle at Mukhtabir. Our development practices are designed to prevent vulnerabilities from reaching production and to quickly address any that are discovered.

Secure Development Practices

  • Secure Coding Standards: Developers follow established secure coding guidelines to prevent common vulnerabilities such as injection attacks, cross-site scripting (XSS), and insecure data handling.
  • Code Review: All code changes undergo review before deployment, with security considerations as part of the review process.
  • Dependency Vulnerability Monitoring: Third-party libraries and dependencies are continuously monitored for known security vulnerabilities. Critical issues are remediated promptly.
  • Security Testing: The platform undergoes regular security testing as part of the development and release process to identify and remediate potential issues before they reach production.
  • Controlled Deployments: Code changes follow a structured release process with testing in isolated environments before promotion to production.

We treat the security of our application layer as an ongoing discipline — not a one-time assessment — and continuously review and improve our practices as the platform grows.

6.AI System Security

Mukhtabir's core features are powered by AI — including AI-driven interview delivery, dynamic follow-up questions, and automated candidate evaluation. Because these systems directly affect candidates, we apply specific security and safeguard measures to our AI infrastructure.

AI Security Measures

  • Prevention of AI Misuse: The platform is designed to prevent the AI systems from being manipulated or abused — for example, through prompt injection attacks or attempts to extract internal system instructions.
  • Data Isolation Between Organizations: AI processing for one organization's interviews is isolated from other organizations. Candidate data from one employer is never used to influence AI evaluations for another employer on the platform.
  • AI Behavior Monitoring: AI-generated outputs — including questions, follow-up prompts, and evaluation scores — are subject to ongoing monitoring to detect anomalies, unexpected behavior, or outputs that fall outside expected parameters.
  • Safeguards Against Abuse: Rate limiting, session controls, and behavioral detection mechanisms are in place to prevent abuse of AI features by malicious actors.
  • Responsible Model Use: AI models used by Mukhtabir are selected and configured with safety and reliability as primary considerations. Model outputs are not used to make final employment decisions without human oversight.

Human Oversight

AI-generated evaluations and scores are decision-support tools — not automated final employment decisions. Organizations retain full human responsibility for hiring decisions. See our AI Ethics & Transparency page for more detail on how AI is used in assessments.

7.Data Protection Practices

Mukhtabir handles candidate and organization data with care and applies responsible data management practices across the platform lifecycle.

  • Data Minimization: We collect only the data necessary to deliver the platform's services. We do not collect personal data speculatively or for purposes beyond those disclosed.
  • Purpose Limitation: Data collected during interview sessions — including recordings and transcripts — is used only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy and agreed to by the organization and candidate.
  • Logical Data Separation: Each organization's data is logically separated on the platform. One organization cannot access another organization's candidates, interviews, or settings.
  • Data Retention Controls: Interview data is retained for defined periods consistent with our data retention policy. Organizations may request data deletion in accordance with applicable data protection rights.
  • Third-Party Access Controls: Where third-party service providers process data on behalf of Mukhtabir, we ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place. Third parties do not have unrestricted access to candidate or organization data.

For full details on how we collect, use, and protect personal data, please review our Privacy Policy.

8.Monitoring & Threat Detection

Mukhtabir operates a continuous monitoring program to detect, identify, and respond to security threats before they can impact platform users or data.

Security Monitoring

Platform systems, services, and API endpoints are continuously monitored for anomalous behavior, unusual access patterns, and potential indicators of compromise. Security events are logged and reviewed by our team.

Threat Detection

Automated threat detection mechanisms monitor for known attack patterns, brute-force attempts, unauthorized access, and abnormal usage. Suspicious activity triggers alerts for investigation.

Availability Monitoring

Platform availability is monitored continuously. Alerts are triggered for degraded performance or service interruptions, enabling rapid response to maintain operational continuity.

Audit Logging

Access to sensitive data and administrative actions are recorded in audit logs. These logs support forensic investigation in the event of a security incident and are protected from unauthorized modification.

9.Incident Response

Despite robust preventive measures, no system can guarantee perfect protection against all threats. Mukhtabir maintains a documented incident response process to ensure that any security event is handled promptly, professionally, and with minimum impact on users and data.

Our Incident Response Approach

  • Detection: Security monitoring systems and internal reports are used to identify potential incidents as quickly as possible.
  • Containment: Upon identification, we take immediate steps to contain the incident — isolating affected systems and preventing further unauthorized access or data exposure.
  • Investigation: We investigate the root cause, scope, and impact of the incident using audit logs and forensic tools.
  • Remediation: Affected systems are remediated and hardened to prevent recurrence. Vulnerabilities that enabled the incident are patched.
  • Notification: Where a security incident involves personal data and meets applicable legal notification thresholds, we will notify affected organizations and, where required, relevant data protection authorities in accordance with applicable law.
  • Post-Incident Review: Every significant security incident is followed by a formal review to identify lessons learned and improve our security posture.

Security Incident Notification

Organizations that use Mukhtabirwill be notified of any confirmed security incident that affects their data. Notifications will be issued without undue delay and will include relevant details to support the organization's own response procedures.
