AI Ethics & Transparency
We believe in responsible AI. This policy explains exactly how artificial intelligence is used in Mukhtabir interviews — what it evaluates, what it does not, and how human oversight is always maintained.
1.Introduction
Mukhtabir is an AI-powered interview and candidate assessment platform operated by Voramind Intelligence LLC, based in Qatar. The platform enables organizations to conduct automated, AI-assisted interviews — including voice and video interviews — and generates structured evaluation reports to support human-led recruitment decisions.
Artificial intelligence is at the core of what Mukhtabirdoes. We take seriously the responsibility that comes with using AI to support consequential decisions about people's professional lives. This AI Transparency Policy is designed to explain — in plain language — how our AI systems work, what they evaluate, and what they are not permitted to do.
Who This Policy Is For
This policy applies to all individuals who interact with Mukhtabir, including job candidates participating in AI-assisted interviews, and the organizations and recruiters who use Mukhtabir to conduct assessments.2.Purpose of This Policy
This policy exists to ensure that every person who interacts with Mukhtabirunderstands:
- When and how artificial intelligence is used during the interview process
- What data is collected and how it is processed by AI systems
- What the AI evaluates and, critically, what it does not
- How human decision-makers remain in control of all hiring outcomes
- What rights candidates have and how they can exercise them
- How Mukhtabir approaches fairness, bias mitigation, and responsible AI development
Transparency is not merely a legal obligation — it is a foundational principle of how we build and operate Mukhtabir. We believe that both candidates and organizations deserve a clear, honest account of how AI is involved in their interactions with our platform.

AI as a Decision-Support Tool
In all cases, AI on Mukhtabir acts as a decision-support tool. It assists human recruiters by organizing information, generating assessments, and surfacing relevant data. AI does not make hiring decisions. Final decisions remain exclusively with the organization's human recruiters and hiring managers.4.How AI Is Used During Interviews
During a Mukhtabir interview session, AI is active in several ways. Below is a transparent account of each stage:
| Stage | What AI Does |
|---|---|
| Before the interview | AI generates tailored interview questions and follow-up prompts based on the job description and evaluation criteria defined by the organization. |
| During the interview | AI manages the interview flow, presents questions, listens to or records candidate responses, and generates contextual follow-up questions in real time. |
| During response capture | AI transcribes spoken answers into text. For video sessions, the session is recorded for later review. |
| After the interview | AI evaluates the content of transcribed responses against the defined criteria, assigns scores, and generates a structured evaluation summary. |
| Reporting | AI produces a scorecard and summary report that is made available to the recruiting organization for human review. |
5.Types of Data Collected
The following categories of data are collected during and in connection with AI-assisted interviews on Mukhtabir:
5.1 — Interview Response Data
- Audio recordings of spoken interview responses
- Video recordings of interview sessions (where video is enabled)
- Automated text transcripts of spoken responses
- Any written text entered by the candidate during the session
5.2 — AI-Generated Analytical Data
- Evaluation scores assigned by AI to individual responses
- Overall interview score or candidate ranking
- Structured evaluation summaries and feedback reports
- Communication quality assessments (clarity, relevance, coherence)
5.3 — Candidate Profile Data
- Name, email address, and contact details
- Resume or CV content (where submitted)
- Work history, education, and professional qualifications
5.4 — Platform Technical Data
- Session timestamps and duration
- Device and browser information
- IP address and connection metadata
6.How Candidate Responses Are Analyzed
Mukhtabir's AI evaluates candidate responses through a combination of natural language processing and content analysis. The analysis is anchored to criteria defined by the recruiting organization before the interview begins.
The AI assessment focuses on the following dimensions:
| Dimension | What Is Assessed |
|---|---|
| Relevance | Does the candidate's answer address the question asked and relate to the role requirements? |
| Completeness | Has the candidate addressed the key aspects of the question with sufficient depth? |
| Clarity | Is the response communicated clearly, coherently, and in an organized manner? |
| Role Fit | How well does the content of the response align with the skills and experience expected for the role? |
| Communication Quality | How effectively does the candidate express their thoughts, including structure and articulation? |
Important Limitation
AI analysis is based on the textual content of responses and communication patterns. It does not draw conclusions about a candidate's personal character, mental state, or any protected personal characteristics. All AI outputs are indicative assessments to assist human reviewers, not definitive judgments.7.AI-Generated Scores and Evaluations
At the conclusion of each interview, Mukhtabir's AI generates a structured evaluation report which may include:
- Per-question scores reflecting how well the response met the defined criteria
- An overall interview score or composite rating
- A written summary of the candidate's performance across key competency areas
- Highlighted strengths and areas for further exploration by the human recruiter
Key Disclosures Regarding AI Scores
- AI scores are decision-support tools. They are not determinative, final, or authoritative judgments of a candidate's suitability for a role.
- Scores reflect the AI's assessment of response content against defined criteria — they are inherently subjective approximations.
- Organizations are responsible for how they interpret and act upon AI-generated scores.
- Scores should always be reviewed alongside the actual interview transcript and recruiter judgment.
- No candidate should be accepted or rejected based solely on an AI-generated score.
8.Human Oversight and Decision-Making
Mukhtabir is designed with mandatory human oversight at every stage of the recruitment process. The platform is a tool to assist human recruiters — not to replace them.
Final Decisions Are Human
All hiring decisions — including offers, rejections, and advancements — are made exclusively by human recruiters and hiring managers at the organization.
AI Outputs Are Reviewed
All AI-generated scores, summaries, and evaluations are presented to human reviewers before any recruitment action is taken.
No Automated Rejection
Mukhtabir does not automatically reject or advance any candidate based solely on AI output. Human judgment is always required.
Organizations Are Accountable
Organizations using the platform are responsible for ensuring that AI insights are used fairly and in compliance with applicable employment law.
9.What the AI System Does NOT Evaluate
Mukhtabir's AI is explicitly designed NOT to assess, infer, or use any of the following attributes in its evaluation of candidates:
Attributes Explicitly Excluded From AI Analysis
- Race, ethnicity, or national origin
- Religion or religious beliefs
- Gender, gender identity, or sexual orientation
- Age or generational characteristics
- Disability or health status
- Pregnancy or family status
- Political opinions or affiliations
- Socioeconomic background or accent analysis for demographic profiling
- Physical appearance or biometric identity
- Nationality or citizenship status
10.Fairness, Bias, and Responsible AI Practices
We recognize that AI systems can reflect or amplify biases present in training data or system design. Addressing AI bias is an active, ongoing responsibility — not a one-time checkbox.
Evaluation Criteria Are Defined by Organizations
Interview criteria, competency frameworks, and scoring rubrics are configured by the organization using the platform. Mukhtabir encourages organizations to use role-relevant, inclusive criteria that focus on professional skills and capabilities.
Role-Relevance Requirement
Organizations are required to ensure that evaluation criteria are directly relevant to the requirements of the role. Criteria that could introduce or perpetuate bias against protected groups are prohibited under the platform's Terms of Service.
Ongoing Bias Monitoring
Mukhtabir's AI development team conducts ongoing reviews of AI model performance to identify patterns of potential bias and implement appropriate mitigations. This includes reviewing output distributions across candidate cohorts.
Model Transparency
We use large language models and natural language processing technologies to power our AI evaluation. These models are subject to internal testing and evaluation before deployment. We continuously monitor outputs and update models as improvements become available.
Alignment with Responsible AI Principles
Mukhtabir's AI practices are designed to align with internationally recognized responsible AI principles including transparency, human oversight, accountability, non-discrimination, and data minimization.
11.Transparency for Candidates
Mukhtabir is committed to ensuring that candidates have a clear and honest understanding of how AI is involved in their assessment. The following transparency commitments apply:
- Candidates are informed before the interview that AI will be used to assist in evaluating their responses.
- Candidates are told that their interview may be recorded and transcribed.
- Candidates are informed that AI generates scores and summaries that are reviewed by human recruiters.
- Candidates are notified that they have rights regarding their personal data and may make requests to exercise those rights.
- Candidates can request information about how their interview was processed by contacting the platform or the organization.
- Candidates are not subject to fully automated hiring or rejection decisions — human review is always required.
12.Candidate Consent and Participation
Participation in a Mukhtabir interview requires prior informed consent. Candidates are presented with a clear disclosure before the interview begins that:
- Identifies that the interview is powered by AI
- Explains that the interview may be recorded (audio and/or video)
- States that responses will be transcribed and analyzed by AI
- Confirms that AI-generated outputs will be reviewed by human recruiters
- Outlines the candidate's rights and how to exercise them
Candidates must affirmatively acknowledge this disclosure before an interview session can proceed. Candidates who do not consent may not be able to complete the interview through Mukhtabir; however, the decision on whether and how to accommodate such candidates rests with the recruiting organization.
13.Data Storage and Processing
Interview data — including recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated evaluations — is processed and stored on secure cloud infrastructure. Mukhtabir implements industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.
| Data Category | Storage | Retention |
|---|---|---|
| Audio & video recordings | Encrypted cloud storage | Per organization configuration and applicable law |

Mukhtabir operates under the jurisdiction of the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) and applies data protection standards consistent with QFC Data Protection Regulations and aligned with international best practices.
14.Interview Recording and Transcripts
Depending on the interview format configured by the organization, Mukhtabirmay record and transcribe candidate interview sessions:
Audio Recording
Voice interview sessions are recorded in audio format. The audio recording is used to generate an automated transcript and to support AI evaluation of the candidate's responses.
Video Recording
Video interview sessions may be recorded and made available to authorized recruiters at the organization for review. Video is not used by Mukhtabir's AI to perform facial expression analysis or emotional inference of any kind.
Transcripts
All spoken responses are automatically transcribed into text. Transcripts form the primary input for AI evaluation and are accessible to authorized recruiters at the organization.
15.Use of AI for Question Generation
Mukhtabir uses AI to generate interview questions tailored to specific roles and organizational requirements. This process works as follows:
- The organization provides a job description, required competencies, and any specific topics they want covered.
- AI generates a set of structured interview questions aligned with those inputs.
- Dynamic follow-up questions are generated in real time based on how the candidate responds to initial questions.
- Organizations may review and customize AI-generated questions before the interview is conducted.
AI-generated questions are designed to be role-relevant and professionally appropriate.Mukhtabir does not generate questions intended to elicit information about protected personal characteristics, and organizations are prohibited from configuring the platform to ask such questions.
16.Limitations of AI Assessments
AI-based assessment is a powerful tool, but it has inherent limitations that must be understood by both organizations and candidates:
Language and Expression Variability
AI evaluates responses based on text content. Candidates who communicate in a non-native language, use regional expressions, or have atypical communication styles may receive assessments that do not fully reflect their capabilities.
Criteria Dependency
AI outputs are only as meaningful as the criteria defined by the organization. Poorly designed criteria may produce scores that do not accurately reflect job-relevant competencies.
Context Limitations
AI does not have access to a candidate's full professional history, body language, interpersonal qualities, or contextual life circumstances. These factors, which a human interviewer might consider, are not captured by the AI.
Model Imperfection
Like all AI systems, Mukhtabir's models are not perfect and may produce assessments that do not reflect the true quality of a candidate's responses. This is a known limitation of the technology.
AI Scores Are Not Final
AI-generated scores should be interpreted as one data point among many. Organizations are strongly encouraged to complement AI evaluations with human judgment, structured interviews, and other assessment methods.
17.Responsible Use by Organizations
Organizations that use Mukhtabir accept responsibility for how AI-generated insights are applied within their recruitment processes. The following obligations apply to all organizations:
- Inform candidates that AI-assisted interviews are being conducted before the session begins.
- Obtain valid, informed candidate consent for data collection, recording, and AI processing in accordance with applicable law.
- Ensure that interview criteria and questions are role-relevant, lawful, and do not discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics.
- Treat AI scores and evaluations as decision-support tools — not as definitive assessments of a candidate's suitability.
- Ensure that final hiring decisions are made by qualified human decision-makers.
- Comply with all applicable data protection, employment, and AI governance regulations in their jurisdiction.
- Respond appropriately to candidate requests regarding their data and how AI was used in their assessment.
Organizational Accountability
Mukhtabir is a technology provider. The recruiting organization is the data controller and is ultimately accountable for ensuring that the use of AI in their hiring process is lawful, fair, and consistent with this policy. Mukhtabirreserves the right to suspend access to organizations found to be using the platform in a manner that violates these principles.18.Candidate Rights and Data Requests
